Last week as I was casually scrolling through posts on Instagram, I came across a photo of a similar bag I have owned for years. The bag I own is from the army and is used to carry the helmets of Jet Pilots. Each time I carry it around people always ask me questions about it. I’m not a jet pilot and the only helmet I carry around is for my motorbike. The shape of the bag is great for everyday use as it has a lot of space inside to fit a laptop and many more things you want to throw in. The additional large front pockets leave you with even more room to place many other belongings in an orderly way. I use my helmet bag for work but also a lot for travelling these days as a carry on. This bag which caught my attention is made by Leon Flam, named the “Comte de la Vaux” and is a much more chic version than my army one. It is made of a durable heavy canvas with genuine leather reinforcements on the handles and straps. There is also a shoulder strap made of heavy canvas if you don’t want to carry it by hand. The colour options offer nice 2 to 3- tone combinations, mixing the colour of the canvas, the upper section of the bag and the leather handle. Take a look at the slideshow above by clicking on the image. Price: 300 Euros
TRD: If you’re carrying that free gym backpack to work dump it and get a proper bag.
Did you know: A F11 Fighter jet shot itself in 1956, because its speed was faster than its own bullet.
