The all too famous Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles California is said to have been sold for half of it’s original listing price at $105 Million according to Los Angeles Times which listed it at $200 Million 6 months prior. It was purchased by a neighbour, Mr. Metropoulos, who is a 32 year old entrepreneur and son of a billionaire. But there is a condition to the contract where Mr Hugh Hefner, now 90 years old, gets to stay in the property as a tenant till his death. The property expands over five acres, features 29 rooms, a tennis court, a guest house with four rooms, a zoo license and the all too famous Grotto cave-like pool. We’d say that keeping Hugh as a tenant would be one of the selling points.
TRD: Mr Metroploulos, gets the old guy to stay but I bet he would have preferred to have the bunnies.
Did you know: Playboy Enterprises purchased the property for $1,05 Million in 1971.
